JD & Co are delighted to be working with an exciting high-growth customer-centric enterprise SaaS platform looking to hire an ambitious and commercially astute VP of Marketing.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the whole leadership team, the VP of Marketing will be responsible for designing and implementing a strategic roadmap that balances long-term vision with iterative improvements; at all times maintaining momentum and tactical delivery within the marketing team, in a fast-paced scale-up

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and mentor the global marketing teams (UK & US) taking responsibility for the recruitment of new talent, coaching for high-performance and setting a precedent for success
  • Work closely with the CEO and Sales peers to support an aligned commercial strategy
  • Leverage data and pursue insights-enabled activity – effectively testing an hypothesis
  • Product marketing – become a product super-user!
  • Work closely with the VP of Product and members of the product team to design marketing initiatives that bring the product roadmap to life externally
  • Manage ‘top of the funnel’ demand generation activity including defining and iterating an effective paid search strategy
  • Oversee an effective content marketing strategy maximising the business’ digital footprint and reach at all times
  • Define a roadmap that includes a sensible and achievable cadence of events and launches that drive new business and demonstrates clear ROI
  • Pursue opportunities for content partnerships and co-branded/sponsorship opportunities, including advertising, PR and thought leadership

Based in London, our client is looking for a confident marketing generalist who understand how to connect a B2B tech product with its potential addressable market as part of a consultative, customer-first approach. A proven manager with a track record of developing, mentoring and motivating high achieving teams, and an effective leader willing to roll up their sleeves whilst keeping their eye on the need to scale, develop, retain and succession plan an effective SaaS marketing function that can grow with the business.

Essential criteria:

  • B2B technology marketing experience (enterprise SaaS ideal)
  • Experience working with UK and US audiences
  • Through-the-line marketing expertise
  • Recent experience in a lead marketing function in a fast-moving start-up or scale-up business
